She has twenty years of experience in the animal care field\, starting her journey in 2005 as an Animal Care Specialist in the US Army and then joining the primate center in 2013. Amy has been an active member of the Lab Animal Management Association (LAMA) for about 7 years serves as the Program and Awards Committee Chair and currently on the LAMA Board of Directors. With over eight years of experience in the animal care field\, she brings a well-rounded background spanning both zoological institutions and biomedical research environments. Erika has been an engaged member of the Lab Animal Management Association (LAMA) for more than three years and currently serves as the Program and Awards Committee Chair.
