Leading & Engaging a Diverse Workforce – Owning Your Career

Focus:
This workshop will provide you with the necessary skills to be successful both personally and professionally in the ever-changing world of lab animal medicine. Key areas of focus include:

    • Heighten your self-awareness & sensitivity
    • Tips for coping w/ people you don’t understand
    • Gain a better sense of what’s important to you as a person & a professionals

This one-day interactive workshop will give you tools to improve your leadership/management style, project management, and communication skills and approaches.  We will spend time with self-analysis tools so participants will walk away with a better understanding of their own strengths and an action plan to improve areas for development.

This workshop will be held on April 14, 2025 (one day prior to the start of the LAMA/ATA Annual Meeting) from 8 am to 5 pm at the Island Resort, Fort Walton Beach, FL.  If registering for the annual meeting, you will see there is a discounted rate for the Leadership Bootcamp.

Cost:
$350 – Member registered for annual meeting
$400 – Member not attending annual meeting
$450 – Non-member registered for annual meeting
$500 – Non-member not attending annual meeting
